flow church Manchester is a recently registered Non-profit organization in the UK that serves religious activities in Cantonese. We are one of the official ministries "outflow mission" of flow church Hong Kong which established in 2018. The character "flow" in our name embodies our faith philosophy — unconfined by traditional frameworks. We hold fast to the essence of the Christian church, building a church centered on life, action, and simplicity. In turbulent times, we strive to be a fluid and socially engaged community that is not defined by tradition, bearing witness to Christ in the society. Be water, my friend.

The mission and vision of flow church Manchester is to advance Christian faith in accordance with the teachings of the Bible, upholding clear, ethical, and biblical principles. We gather regularly to worship God, grow together in faith, study His Word, and share His love with one another and with our wider community.

Recent years, a large number of Christians have left Hong Kong as part of the wider wave of emigration. We are thankful that many HK Christians who have settled overseas have found welcoming local churches and have become a blessing to Chinese churches and Christian communities in their new countries. However, many others have struggled to find a suitable church community where they feel they belong. As a result, some have gradually lost connection with church life and are no longer part of a regular Christian community. At the same time, many pastors who have emigrated from Hong Kong have found it difficult to find opportunities to continue their pastoral ministry overseas. Despite these challenges, they have not given up on their calling to serve God. Finding meaningful ways to continue their calling and pastoral ministry in a new country remains an important and pressing need.

Flow Church's outflow mission programme was established in response to these needs. Its original intention is to bring together Christians who have become disconnected from church, help them rebuild a sense of Christian community, and provide opportunities for pastors who have emigrated overseas to continue living out their calling through pastoral ministry. flow church in Hong Kong will support the establishment and development of these overseas diaspora groups, hoping that these groups will one day become independent church communities sharing the same pastoral philosophy as flow church Hong Kong. The flow church Manchester is a physical group that gathers weekly, participates in online worship services, studies the Bible, and interact with each other before and after worship.
